A Facial Scanning Mood Identification Mirror:CONCEPT:
The idea is to create a mirror which can read peoples emotions with a built in facial recognition scanner. The mirror will scan your face and then set mood lighting according to your mood. The aim is to either improve or maintain the clients mood during and after use.
WHY?:
I was looking at the future of human design and wearable technologies that may become possible while living in Industry 4.0 and decided to look into the possible medical opportunities that may come from this era. The mirror would have to be amplified with Artificial Intelligence to be able to look at a human and read their cognitive data and their emotions. Once the mirror has done this it will then have a back lit glow depending on the mood it reads you as, this will then engulf the room it is based in and hopefully soothe the user. The target audience for this project is for teenagers and young children who struggle with mental health problems, it could be used with a therapist, councillor or even at home for personal use. LOGO DESIGNS:
'Mirror Mirror' will be the name of the product, with a short tag line, and the play on words, which makes the familiar phrase 'Mirror Mirror on the wall...'. This was done to create a friendly and incising image for the audiences, for an approachable feel. I created different a few different logos which help clearly show the idea of the project.BIBLIOGRAPHY:
